This issue of Unlikely reflects on the ever-timely theme of ‘resistance’ and how it interacts with and through creative practice across disciplines. The culmination of four years of conversations, this issue spans disciplines such as poetry, performance, film and social practice and includes works and writing from Brazil, Germany, UK, South Africa, and Australia, each of the contributors interrogates their own relationship to resistance across themes of labour, collectivism, solidarity, listening, play, absurdity and reimagination.
